Ganed a magwyd yn y Barri. Cerddor proffesiynol ers 1980. Bu’n byw ac yn gweithio ar hyd a lled Ewrop, fel cerddor a chrefftwr metel creadigol. Creodd y gong fwyaf yn y byd – lled o 2.5 metr ac yn pwyso 155 cilogram. Teithiodd yn Ne Corea a pherfformio ar deledu cenedlaethol yr Iseldiroedd, Denmarc, Gwlad yr Iâ, yr hen Iwgoslafia a Chorea. Darlledodd ar orsafoedd radio’r BBC, VPRO, DR, NIR. Arloeswr ym maes cerfluniau sain.

Yn 2006, fe’i gwahoddwyd i weithio yn Fforest Coed Hills, lle creodd y Jardin d’illumination – gardd o gerfluniau/offerynnau cerddorol dur, wedi’u gosod ar goed. Mae’r swn cyfoethog a dwfn yn dirgrynu trwy’r coed a thrwy’r gwreiddiau a’r tir. Cafodd y gerddoriaeth a gyflwynir yma ei recordio yn yr ardd.

Born and raised in Barry. Started drumming at 19, professional in 1980, left for Paris in 1981. Since then have worked and lived all over Europe as musician and creative metalworker. Created world’s biggest gong, 2.5m diameter, weighing 155kg. Toured in South Korea. Performed on National Dutch, Danish, Icelandic, ex-Yugoslavian and Korean TV. Radio broadcasts for BBC, VPRO, DR, NIR and many others in Europe. Invented and pioneered gong and cymbal sculptures in the 90s.

In 2006 I was invited to work in the Coed Hills Forest where I created Jardin d’illumination, a large area of stainless steel sound sculptures pivoted into trees. The sound vibrates the trees, the roots and the ground. The acoustic is deep, clear and rich. I recorded my music for this album here.
